Reservation information

Unless you have specifically booked scuba instruction all trips are for certified divers.  Proof of certification is required prior to boarding the boat. To speed up the check in process follow the link to complete your diving waiver and liability release .  Please print out the document and bring it with you to the shop when you check in.

2 tank dive or multiple days of 2 tank dives (includes tanks and weights)

If you are staying at a Grace Bay resort and are taking advantage of the complimentary shuttle service pick up time is at 8am. Divers are taken to our shop in Ports of Call for registration or transfer to the appropriate vehicle for the dive destination for the day.  If you rent a car you can either meet us at the shop and then follow the bus to the marina, or once you know the island, you can drive directly to the marina to go diving.  We use 2 different marinas so be sure to check where to go each day.

Transfers do take time and many hotels are easy walking distance from our shop.  If you choose to walk in the morning just let us know the day before and we will a take you off the pick-up schedule. If you have not registered with us you need to be at the shop at 8am.  If you have already registered with the shop you can meet us at 8.30am.

Return time is anywhere between 1 and 3.30pm depending upon the dive destination for the day. For divers diving multiple days we do our best to rotate you around the various dive areas, we do not pre-plan dive areas due to weather and other guest considerations.

Equipment rental is additional and payable on island. Please bring your credit card  to open a tab in the shop for equipment rental and other incidental expenses.  You can pay by credit card or use cash at the end of your stay.  Staff gratuities may also be added to a credit card payment.

Complimentary snacks, water and soft drinks are provided on every trip.  If you have special dietary requirements or preferences a cooler is also provided to keep your food and drinks cool. You will need to bring your own swimwear, towels and sunscreen.

(1 tank dives and night dives can only be booked on island and a minimum number of divers are required for a 3 tank dive.  If you wish to do a 3 tank dive please indicate this in notes or when you check in with us. Instruction –  Equipment is included for all instruction listed below

Resort Course $245.00
This course is designed for complete novices who wish to try diving. You start with a brief lecture poolside of basic Do’s and Don’ts and then go in the pool with your instructor to get used to the equipment.  Classes are from 3-5pm.  The next day you will go out on the 2 tank dive trip with your instructor and make 2 dives to a maximum depth of 40ft.  If you are diving with certified friends or family you will be on the same boat as them but must stay with your group and instructor for the dives.

You will need to complete the medical questionnaire.  Any “Yes” answers require a physician’s signed approval to dive. Follow this link for a copy of the medical form .

 Referral Dives $425.00 – These are dives for the completion of Open Water Training.  4 dives are completed over 2 consecutive days.

You will need to bring with you the Referral Paperwork from your original instructor. If you do not have a log book you will need to purchase one on island. For PADI Referrals Dive Provo will issue the certification card.  For any other agency referrals Dive Provo will complete the referral form and you will take it back to your original instructor who will issue your certification card. Once these dives are completed you can dive with us as a certified diver.

 PADI E-Learning completion $525.00 – 3 consecutive days, 1 pool day followed by 2 days completing training dives out on the boat. Pool day start time 9am, dive days 8am.

You will need to bring a copy of your final exam.  If you had any “Yes” answers on the medical form you need  to bring a physician’s signed approval to dive.  Follow this link for a copy of the medical form.

PADI Advanced Course $480.00, combined Advanced Course with Nitrox $580.00 –
5 dives completed over 2 consecutive days.  Peak Performance Bouyancy, Navigation Dive, Deep Dive, plus 2 others.  Choose from Fish ID, Underwater Naturalist, Boat Diver, Search and Recovery or Digital Photo.  (Digital Photo manual additional).

You will need to bring your Open Water certification card and will need to complete knowledge reviews for the subject areas chosen. Knowledge can either be completed via PADI e-learning or using a manual which will be provided in the shop, preferably before you start the class. You will need to complete a new medical questionnaire.

There is a lot of paperwork to be completed for all instructional classes.  If at all possible please register at the shop the day prior to starting the class.  This way anything missed can be rectified without too much stress on your first dive day.

Diving Cancellation Policy

Payment guarantees reservation as shown. Cancellations made 7 days or more will receive a full refund. Cancellations 3-7 days out will be charged a $25.00 per person administration fee. Cancellations received within 3 days are non-refundable and non-transferrable. No-shows are non-refundable.

Boat space and staff have been guaranteed for you as booked.  Every effort is made by Dive Provo to accommodate necessary changes after arrival, however in certain cases this may not be possible due to boat or staff availability.  We highly recommend travel insurance to alleviate the financial burden of unforseen circumstances.
